do you remember the little cartoon of them on Saturday mornings when they were in the height of popularity? I do. :)
also, the carpenters. it's one of those bands people slag you for liking (like Barry Manilow) but I did so love them.
the B.J. Thomas "raindrops" was featured in "butch cassidy and the sundance kid" with paul newman and robert redford. it was the bicycle scene.
your hubs make for reminding me of the best of childhood. :)
The bicycle scene in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance (and the Raindrops song) is the most memorable part of the movie, apart from the scene where they both jumped off the cliff together!

Good list. I agree with almost all of them, even Diana Ross, who I absolutely cannot stand.
I never heard of "Get Ready" or Rare Earth, though, but outside of that, I like the songs you have on there.
