I had a tri-colored 15 inch beagle when I was younger. He was nearly solid black as a pup and changed to nearly all white with the tri colored markins.
Whitney, I've had more than one Beagle and adored them all. One very sad fact about Beagles is that they are used in labs for experiments more often than other dogs because Beagles are one of the gentlest dog breeds.

I have a two year old beagle named Elvis. He is the sweetest, most gentle dog I've ever had. I also have a 9 month old Jack Russell named Gracie that chews on his ears and harasses him constantly but he never gets angry at her. Elvis has been going to obedience classes since he was a puppy. He is going to be a therapy dog. I think he will be great at it.

i had a beatle, he was so cute. i loved him to death, and really it was more like he was a child than a dog. He was so adorable. but he died of cancer in '06 and i haven't had other dog since. REST IN PEACE JODI! I LOVE U!

We own three Beagles. The first two are tri-color females that we got from the local animal shelter. The third is a lemon and white male we purchased at of all places--a flea market. He is as cute as he can be but has a bark that would put a rooster to shame. They make excellent companions, good guard dogs and are great for therapy. The male, Sammy, likes to watch television while sitting in my lap. The ladies, as we call them have their own individual habits. I had other dogs over the years, but I do not think you can find a finer dog than a Beagle. If you cannot afford to have a dog, buy a Beagle calendar. it will make you smile every day.

I've had 5 beagles. All rescue dogs. My sweet RUBY lived to be 16, even with a liver problem. She had to be put down due to cancer. Copper lived to be 15, died of a heart attack. Buddy James and Sugar Bear are young and in good health. Wonderful companions. One of the best things I've done, was to adopt older dogs, was a little afraid at first,cause I thought I wouldn't have them long! SO WRONG!!!!!!! I'll definely do it again, some day!!!! Love my beagles sooo much. Love giving a dog a second chance for a loving home. They give unconditional love back. See you soon guys,love from your MOM

Dogs are the cutest thing in the world but cats are amazing for company so thats why i have one dog and 2 cats because i love both cats and dogs so if you have a chance to get a cat or a dog get it because they are the best company you can ask for. they dont ask for anything but never ending love!

omgg, I thought you said Beatles pictures (just glancing) *Laughs at self!!* I do agree with you about beagles though. Even when the word "puppy" is mentioned, I think of a beagle. I guess because they always look that way lol.
