Anne Rice Interview With the Vampire Book
Anne Rice is a hugely talented master of storytelling. You will feel sad, be horrified, and even sympathize with the complicated vampires.
To
add even more color to this tale of horror is the backdrop of New
Orleans. The story begins in Louisiana during the 1700s. This is when
Louis the plantation owner meets the vampire named Lestat. Lestat
decides to introduce Louis to a new world of darkness.
And this is how the Anne Rice Vampire Chronicles begin. Read about the
vampires Lestat, Louis, Claudia, and Armand as they prey on unsuspecting
victims. The horror tale continues for many books to unravel the entire
saga.
Anne Rice Vampire Chronicles - The Vampire Lestat
The Vampire Lestat continues the Anne Rice Vampire Chronicles. This
story is set in the 1980s when Lestat decides to actively join the
humans by joining a rock band. Learn all about the story of Lestat,
including his life before being a vampire in France.
Queen of the Damned - Anne Rice Books
Queen of the Damned is next in the Anne Rice Vampire Chronicles. This book centers around the queen of the vampires, Akasha. This book is more sensual and gruesome than any of the previous Vampire Chronicles.
Anne Rice Vampire Chronicles Continued
The Tale of the Body Thief is the fourth book in the Vampire Chronicles
series. This part of the horror saga focuses again on Lestat as he
travels around the world, looking for some sort of relief from his
immortal undead existence. This time he almost gets into trouble that
even he can't escape.
Memnoch the Devil by Anne Rice
Next in the Anne Rice Vampire Chronicles is Memnoch the Devil. Travel on a supernatural journey with Lestat as the devil takes him to both heaven and hell, and on a tour of the history of mankind. Warning: This vampire tale may offend many Christians.
The Vampire Armand Horror Book
Next we meet The Vampire Armand up close and personal, a favorite character of Vampire Chronicles fans. This is book 6 of the Vampire Chronicles. Go to Venice, Italy, during the 1500s for this vampire's tale. Also travel to Paris again, along with Russia and other exotic locations.
Merrick - Anne Rice Vampire Chronicles
The next book in the Anne Rice Vampire Chronicles is Merrick. We go
back, appropriately, to New Orleans for this tale of horror. Merrick is a
voodoo witch that can even beguile vampires. She becomes connected to
the vampires Louis and Lestat because of Claudia. The vampire David
Talbot is obsessed with Merrick. This book combines the vampire genre
with a little voodoo fun.
Blood and Gold Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice
Blood and Gold tells us about one of the oldest vampires, Marius. Learn about his story that starts in ancient Rome.
Blackwood Farm Vampire Chronicles
Next up in the Anne Rice Vampire Chronicles is Blackwood Farm. Blackwood Farm centers around an aristocratic young man who is heir to Blackwood Farm. Again, vampires and witches are linked together in this Anne Rice book. We even get flashbacks to ancient Athens and Italy. Lots of erotic scenes throughout this Gothic Anne Rice novel.
Blood Canticle - Last of the Anne Rice Vampire Chronicles
Blood Canticle is the last of the Anne Rice Vampire Chronicles series.
It starts where the previous book, Blackwood Farm, ended. This story is
seen through Lestat's eyes. Lots of supernatural background is supplied
with settings in both New Orleans and the Caribbean. Witches and
vampires reunite again in this final book.
This is a vampire book series of true horror genre. Horror fans, vampire fans, and historical fans will not be disappointed.

I greatly enjoyed all of Anne Rice's vampire books except Armand which went a little over the top for my taste. I recommend the first three to all vampire fans and any fan of the Witching Hour series will enjoy the last two books in the series as it ties both chronicles together.
Thank you for introducing these books to me.
The Vampire Lestat is my favorite Vampire Chronicles book.
