Free Dream Meanings of Common Dream Symbols

Believe it or not, teeth are very common items in dreams, especially the act of losing teeth. According to dream interpretations, teeth are supposed to represent learning and 'digesting' your knowledge, if you will.

Mechanical modes of transportation are also common in dreams. The size of the vehicle helps to interpret the vehicle's meaning in the dream. Small vehicles represent the physical body of the dreamer. Larger vehicles represent choices in life that the dreamer has made, such as your company or business. Cars and other vehicles can also symbolize needing to escape or freedom.

Specific types of vehicles have more specific meanings in dreams. Police cars symbolize the warning to be more cautious in daily living. An ambulance in a dream means that the dreamer is in pain because of a particular experience or problem.

Roads are common symbols in dreams. The particular road gives away important clues to the meaning of the dream. If the road is curvy, bumpy, or difficult to maneuver, the road symbolizes that the dreamer's current life may be littered with obstacles as well. A fork in the road is a dream symbol for an important decision to be made in real life.

Mountains in dreams symbolize an obstacle that the dreamer must face. If the dreamer is climbing the mountain, the dream meaning is that the dreamer is accomplishing a goal. The meaning of a dream where the dreamer is looking at a mountain means that the dreamer is trying to make a major decision in life.

The dream interpretation for a baby can have different meanings depending on the rest of the dream and the events in the dreamer's life. A baby can symbolize a new idea or new stage in your life. The meaning of a dream with a baby can also mean the dreamer is experiencing vulnerability and needs reassurance. Of course, if you are pregnant, a dream with a baby simply stands for your unborn baby.

Dreams of death are not as morbid as they seem. Usually when a person dreams of death, the meaning of the dream is that a stage or major event in the dreamer's life is coming to an end.

Falling is a very common theme in dreams. The dream interpretation and meaning of falling represents the feeling of being out of control or fear of failure in the dreamer's life.
